Meet David.
Your repair technician.

I'm David Abraham, the sole repair technician at Esky Repair. I run the business from a dedicated workshop at our family home in Craigavon. Esky Repair has been running for 14 years and has grown considerably since 2020, while keeping the personal service our customers value.

I'm the only technician working on repairs at the Esky Repair workshop, and I carry out the repairs suited to my areas of expertise in-house. From the first assessment to the final handover, I remain your main point of contact.

Our work ranges from everyday screen, battery, port, button, and camera replacements to games-console servicing and original Apple OLED panel refurbishment supported by recent specialist training.

When a repair needs expertise beyond my workshop, I arrange it through the trusted network of skilled technicians I am proud to be part of—while remaining your point of contact throughout.

Frequently asked questions

Helpful answers,
before you visit.

Everything you need to know about assessments, repairs, drop-off, collection, postage, and warranties.

What devices and faults do you repair?

We repair screens, charging ports, home buttons, power buttons, volume buttons, cameras, and batteries across many phones, tablets, iPads, laptops, Apple Watches, game controllers, Nintendo Switch consoles, and VR headsets. We also service games consoles, offer original Apple OLED screen refurbishment, and repair selected models of GHD straighteners.

Is there a charge for an assessment?

Initial repair estimates and assessments of devices that cannot be repaired are normally free. A written estimate is a chargeable service, and we will confirm the price before preparing it.

How long will my repair take?

Times vary depending on the fault, parts availability, and whether specialist work is required. After assessment, we will explain the work and give you the clearest timescale we can before you approve it.

Should I back up my device first?

Yes, please back up important data wherever possible. Repairs can involve a risk of data loss, especially when a device is already damaged. Do not send passwords or unlock codes in the initial enquiry form.

Can I drop off a device at any time?

Our secure drop-off point is available 24 hours a day. Clearly include your name, contact number, and a short description of the fault. Please contact us before bringing larger items so we can arrange a suitable handover.

When can I collect my repaired device or purchase?

When a repair is complete or a purchased item is ready, we send a collection SMS confirming the price and that week’s collection hours. If the item remains uncollected on the following Monday, we send another collection SMS with the updated collection hours for that week.

Can you post my repaired item back?

Yes. Royal Mail Tracked delivery is £6 and Special Delivery is £10. Larger items may cost more to send; we will advise you before the final invoice is issued.

What warranty do repairs include?

Repairs completed by Esky Repair Ltd carry a 90-day workmanship warranty. It does not cover later accidental or liquid damage, misuse, unrelated faults, or defects in customer-supplied parts.

What happens if specialist work is needed?

Any specialist repair we cannot complete in-house may be completed through the network of skilled technicians we work with. We remain your point of contact and expect the same standard of work from our network that you expect from us.

What is included with a purchased device?

Purchased devices include the relevant charging cable, a six-month product warranty, and are unlocked unless we clearly state otherwise. Full condition, price, postage, and warranty details are confirmed before payment.
